Lightning Cycle Dynamics

Lightning Cycle Dynamics. 30 years ago young American rocket scientist Tim Brummer was an avid cyclist. However on longer rides he always experienced some pain and discomfort no matter what adjustments or saddles tried. Plus headwinds really took the enjoyment out of riding. Being an accomplished engineer, he set about designing a superior bike not encumbered by 100 year old racing rules. The result was the Lightning recumbent style bikes, whose performance is verified by dozens of world records and unmatched comfort recognized by thousands of owners world wide. The Brummer designed Lightning P-38 and R-84 models are hand built in the USA by experienced craftsmen, and custom made to order.

Wound Up™

Wound Up™ unveiled an innovative composite road fork that set a number of precedents in the world of bicycle

components. Wound Up™ was the first manufacturer to introduce a patented composite steer tube and the first

manufacturer to offer a production composite fork that weighed less than a pound. Our "no compromise" ride

quality combined lateral leg stiffness with carbon's unique dampening properties, yet another first. It was not

surprising that our forks consistently outperformed those of our competitors in rigorous fatigue and static load

tests. There was and still is nothing else on the market quite like Wound Up™. All Wound Up products are

proudly manufactured in The United States

Co-Motion Cycles

At Co-Motion Cycles,  we've built our reputation on constructing cleanly designed and elegantly execute bicycles since 1988: Bicycles that serve a real purpose for cyclists who expect real performance without unnecessary hype. There are so many bicycles to choose from, how do you know Co-Motion is right for you? Experience, Equipment, Vision From tandems to touring bikes, our approach to building bicycles draws from traditional elements, yet we've openly discarded anything that doesn't serve the purpose of making a better bicycle. The emphasis here is on design, from the very tubing that your Co-Motion is made of, to the way every one of our bicycles interacts with the human body. Nowhere else will you find a greater degree of specialization in the materials we use and the way that we integrate new ideas into new bicycles. When new designs are called for, we work with some of the world's top suppliers or we fabricate what we need in our extensive machine shop to make them a reality.

Rodriguez Bicycles

Rodriguez Bicycles is a group of 15 people that build bicycles in a small shop in Seattle Washington .  We've been out here doing this since 1973, and have really thought through our methods for hand-building a bicycle, and ways of doing so efficiently right here in the United States. While most of our competition has sent their production overseas, or raised their prices through the roof, we've studied and changed the methods we use to build, paint and assemble.

Worksman Folding Cycles

Worksman Folding Cycles Worksman Folding Bikes are made in the USA. Back in 1898 when Morris Worksman established Worksman Cycles, his belief was that a well designed three-wheeled cycle could replace the horse and wagon by providing a less expensive and more reliable way to move people and products over urban terrain. As it turns out, his philosophy was correct.

Each of our bicycles begins in the legendary Waterford Precision Cycles factory in Wisconsin, where experts individually handcraft frames and forks for our men's bicycles and women' s bicycles from lightweight, TrueTemper double-butted CroMo steel. Once the bicycle components are finished, they're shipped to our Detroit workshop.

Bushnell Cycle Design bike parts made in the USA

Bushnell Cycle Design bike parts made in the USA. Aside from creating the world famous Bushnell Eccentric Bottom Bracket, Dennis Bushnell has been building some the lightest weight, high-performance, and unique bikes for as long as.....well I'll let you figure that out. Dennis was selected to hand-build bicycles for the 1984 U.S. Olympic team. He was also sought out to build the first carbon fiber tandems for Lon Haldeman and Pete Penseyre's record setting ride across the United States back in 1987.

Dennis can claim over 25 years as a Master Frame Builder. Bushnell Cycle Design bike parts made in the USA has been around more years than most custom bike manufacturers have even been in business.

Aside from building bicycles for some of the world's fastest cyclists, Dennis has built a reputation as a builder who can build just about any bike, no matter how long.

Every year at Bushnell Cycles, we build several triple frames, the occasional quad, and last winter even a quint. That's right, a bicycle built for five! Dennis also builds bikes that convert from single to tandem, triple, quad or quint.

If you've been to a tandem rally, you've probably seen the tandems where the captain rides in back, and the stoker rides in front in a recumbent position. This bicycle was called the Counterpoint Opus. Dennis was the guy who built most of the original Counterpoint Opus bicycles, and the Counterpoint Trios.
